I have been customer of this location for a few years with previous management staff and the new staff that is now is awesome Including the managers. They always has a smile and I always feel like home. When I go with my 2 Yorkie dogs they are always welcome and also they got treats from the staff and they do an excellent customer service. Ivan one of the managers is always helpful and able to answer my questions as well as recommend all that my dogs needs as he also have a Yorkie. I always receive and excellent service from him and when he's not at the store the other employees are very helpful as well.
I don't want to judge from a previous reviews that I read here or to defend anyone but as a retail owner I know how difficult is to sometimes deal with different customers specially when they want to do a return or exchange and they want to do what they want . As a manager we have to follow policies and as a customer we have to understand that they are doing their job.
I recently went into this Pet Supermarket looking for a new brand of dog food for my puppy. The staff was knowledgeable and took their time to help me pick out the perfect food for my dogs needs. Very friendly and clean store as well :)
I have been coming to this location for about a year, usually the staff is very friendly and helpful but last night I ran into the biggest disappointment, and it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I have two Chinese Shar Peis that have recently developed a really bad food allergy. After spending almost all day at the vet with my younger dog and finding out that he can go blind from his left eye not to mention all the antibiotics that he has been put on, they can not longer have any protein that comes from chicken, which it's all they had. I was told by the vet to exchange the food for a different protein immediately so I took all the food and treats that I had purchased from this location and explained to the young lady that was helping me about the situation, she was so nice, kind and very empathetic. When I got the food that I was going to take home she tells me that I can not return one of the treats because the manager had decline it because it was open and it was half empty. I asked to speak to him and when he showed up he did not wanted to talk to me he went straight to the young lady and started speaking to her in Spanish, I'm fluently bilingual so I started speaking directly to him in Spanish explaining again the situation but he DID NOT CARE!!!! Obviously this is hurting my dogs and putting their well being in danger. It's not about the money it's about having compassion and empathy for your customers. How can this person be a manager?? His demeanor was disgusting it just made me feel like I'm not appreciated as a loyal customer! I asked for corporate number and the manager's name. His name is Ivan, he did not seem to be bothered at all by my request. Unfortunately this is the world we live on now and there's a lot of people like Ivan that have no compassion for what other people are going through, my dogs are my kids, they are my family. I keep asking myself how does a person like him works as a manager again? When he has no common sense! No good customer service, no good judgment, no good communication skills. Very disappointed by this experience and really hope no one goes through it like I did!
I love the service I get when I come in here from Stephanie ! I usually shop online but I keep coming back here bc of her! She’s always willing to help. Always has a positive attitude and I trust whatever she recommends for my pup which she shows so much love to ! Thanks Stephanie for always treating us so well !
