Its a long drive so stayed overnight nearby and found the museum hidden away on first impressions I thought oh what a waste of time. But dont judge a book by its cover, once in I was astounded by the amount of vehicles from cars, military vehicles to motorbikes and so much more.
If you're not a fan of cars, you're not gonna like this place. Classic Side: just a collection of cars with no context on their role in automotive history. Some of the cars didn't even have a plaque to explain what you're looking at. Hollywood Side: more interesting because they're cars you recognize. They went a little overboard with James Bond cars, though.
Very good auto museum, a good selection of autos. Cars are nicely displayed and the rooms are quite full. Heavy focus on American history, but loved all the Vespas! Everyone has their preference as to what they like to collect, this is one man's interpretation, and I must thank him for sharing! With a discounted ticket, not to be missed...
I was there from 10 till 4 and still felt I had not covered it all, just so much to take in. OMG whole collections of scooters and motorbikes, James Bond collection, planes and it just went on and on. Oh! why did I not go down for a few days and spend it in this place. Spoke to a few members of staff and they were so friendly and full of knowledge that they were more than happy too share.
Very nice well restored cars. Plenty of cars and motorcycles. Loved it !
I heard about this hidden gem from a friend and drove down from Orlando whilst on my holidays especially to visit this amazing museum.
Please pay this place a visit you will not be disappointed.
